My husband and I hopped on a Goldwing and headed for the Sierra mountains in Northern California and Nevada. We saw it all: deep forests, wide open desert, rocky cliffs, and cool streams. Three days and 700+ miles later, I was sad to get off the bike.

My wife and myself had the trip of a lifetime in May this year (2010) staying in San Francisco for 2 weeks then 1 week riding the Pacific Highway. I recommend California Motorcycle Adventuress to anyone thinking of hiring a bike in San Francisco, all the team are highly professional, very helpful, and extremely friendly. From first picking us up in the city and driving us to pick up the bike, planning a route for us and recommending places to stay, right up to booking a hotel and driving us there at the end of our holiday they were great. The bike was a dream to drive, and although it was one of the older ones in their fleet, it was in immaculate condition (as the photos show) and never faltered once, starting first time, every time. Thank you all so much for making the whole process from renting the bike, being picked up from our hotel and setting off from your workshop so simple and straightforward - it couldn't have been handled any better. The Electra-Glide we rented was excellent - well prepared, well maintained and obviously cared for. Special thanks to Ilene for organising the itinerary and suggesting accommodation along the way - absolutely perfect.
Riding a Harley along the Pacific Coast Highway is something I had wanted to do for many years, but hadn't quite got round to. Happily we both thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day, 800 mile, trip down the PCH to Santa Barbara and back via the hills of the wine country, meeting a lot of interesting characters along the way - just wish we could have stayed there a little longer!
So once again many thanks for everything. We have no hesitation in recommending California Motorcycle Adventures to anyone. Brilliant service, brilliant bikes, brilliant people!
